Education project for poor children in Seru Domi

In the Punda downtown area of Willemstad is a neighborhood called Seru Domi. It is located at the south side of the island. Starting with a clean up it ended with placing awareness signs. The beach is also used for the yearly jeu des boules tournament.

The education program contain a movie for the whole neighborhood and snorkeling, biology lessons and excursion for 25 children of a nearby primary school.

This action is performed in cooperation with the foundations of Uniek Curacao and Reef Care Curacao.

Uniek Curacao strives to opening free of charge the nature areas of the island, and in particular the coastal areas and beaches.

A lawyer office, a nearby hotel, a refreshment drinks company, etc etc sponsors this local community initiative.
