Motivation Reef Care Curacao

Worldwide the coral reefs are deteriorating alarmingly. Aside from existing and continuously increasing stress due to overpopulation, coastal development and industrial activity, the coral reefs are also faced with globally rising temperatures. Biologists predict that at this rate, coral reefs, as we know them, will disappear over the next 20 to 30 years. Although the coral reefs of Curacao are among the best of the Caribbean, unfortunately, our reefs are not exempt from the rapid deterioration. Our shallow reefs are already gone. Should we stand by and lose the rest, too?
